Hello, I'm Kaden Forsberg, a expert music, acting, and voice tutor with a Masters degree vocal performance. My teaching philosophy is functional and fun for students of all levels. Lessons are unique to the needs and goals of individual students, however, I believe in equipping everyone with tools and knowledge that allow them to continue improving their craft as they grow. Our relationship to our voice is lifelong. I perform around the world as an actor and a singer. This career informs my teaching as I consider the actual demands a performance career places on an individual's voice. Consequently, I prioritize finding functionality and consistency in students' voices that allows them to sing and speak more dynamically and expressively. Whether you are looking to strengthen the quality and clarity of your speaking voice for meetings, events, etc, or you have ambitions of working professionally as an actor or singer, my teaching can get you there. With interactive lessons and personalized strategies, I aim to help my students reach their full potential. Let's make learning music a rewarding journey together!

As a student of voice the most important thing I have learned is that singing is a skill - not a talent. Once the voice is organized anyone can sing in any style (and you may not believe me, but I started at NYU not even being able to Mix and now I am able to belt up to G5 and whistle unto Eb6) This was possible because of the classes I took at NYU such as voice pedagogy, song analysis/performance classes, and music theory/aural skills. Through these skills I have worked off-broadway and all over NYC and I love to share this knowledge with others. I believe in a wholistic approach to the voice that means getting the voice organized through vocal exercises and then transferring those skills into repertoire. I want to help you achieve healthy sustainable singing (that of course is fun). And most importantly, I believe the student knows best because they are the only one in their body. I can give feedback on what I see and hear, but only you can tell me how it feels. So let’s figure out how to make singing feel good for you!
